Grown at the estate 15km west of Kyneton, Victoria, Australia from mature vines.

Oak Treatment
100% French oak, 50% in new barrels

Analysis
Alcohol 12.5 % Ph 3.55 TA 7.6 g/l

Appearance
Brick red with a solid mahogany hue.


Palate
Strong cherry, black plums and wild mint leaves balanced with bottle aged savoury and red leather flavours finishing with good chalky tannins.

Nose
Intensely concentrated bouquet with herbal and fruit aromas supporting subtle cassis and cedar from distinctively cool climate old vines.

Enjoy With
An ideal companion with tender cuts of lightly seared game.  For optimal results decant or aerate this wine half an hour prior to drinking.

Cellaring
15 years.
