Guide
(Huon Hooke & Ralph Kyte-Powell)
"Is this the best Virgin Hills ever? Quite possibly,
although we're old enough to remember the '76 when it was a
babe. This is quite simply a stunner. Deep colour, sweet blackberry,
blackcurrant and spice aromas, showing riper fruit and a shade
more oak than usual. In the mouth, it has great intensity and
power, without sacrificing its usual elegance. Finishes with
length and grip. Outstanding! Serve with venison."
